  • This is an excellent tune. First Winter LP I got in 1970. remember? It only had 3 sides of a double LP

  • This is my all time favorite JW track. Listen to those chops! I think he was playing a Gibson SG on this track. But it might be that Flying V he liked so much. Killer tone!

  • i like it but for the voice i like more phil lynott he puts more soul he slow it down and sounds better

  • NO, There never was a Fourth Side to this Great album.

  • This is my fav Johnny tune also, He was such an advanced player even 40 yrs ago! way ahead of the pack!

  • Yeah yeah, this and Hustled Down in Texas, ok Miss Ann too. I read that he recorded Second Winter on a gold top Les Paul. Excellent.

  • I've been a Johnny winter fan ever since I knew what a record player was and still listen to all of his music that I can get my hands on.. The Man Just Plain knows what its all about from his heart, Soul and Fingers.. He can not be replaced.. Keep playin Johnny!!!!! "KEV"

  • Was this double lp ever made with a fourth side?

  • ..Yes, I had never seen a double record set,.... with just 3 sides recorded,.... and the opposite side ....completely blank.....I have this album records deluxe set....I'm proud to have it..!...

  • It was 1970 I was 18 I went over to my buddy Steves house to get high. We burned it down and then Steve said check out this new Johnny Winter album I just got. He put this track on first. Man I was fuckin floored!

  • Nothing would give me greater pleasuer than to piss on whoever disliked this' corn flakes. Even if you don't care for J.W., this is still a great tune no matter how it gets sliced. I mean, I don't go around and dislike every Justin Bieber vid just 'cause I don't care for that music.

  • First real rock and roller I saw close up at age 14 at the Boston Tea Party (first one), an old converted theater where we stood 20 feet from Johnny. For the next few days, everytime I closed my eyes, it was like i was back there, hearing the music and seeing him toss his head of white hair around.
