On their first day in Iceland, the Lehigh team takes in some sights on the Reykjanes Peninsula. Much of Iceland's landscape outside of the capital city of Reykjavik is a rough, barren stretch of hardened volcanic lava and coarse black sand that, to many visitors, resembles a lunar setting. American astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong actually traveled to these areas to practice their moonwalk before their historic mission.
