I've been reading the books since the very first one, great writing, great story line, great character progression. I just hope Steve stays away from SciFy channel, they ruin any movie they touch. Ever since his first book came out there has been a slew of crappy "Meg" movies released, ass long as Steve has total control of the movie im sure it will be TOTALLY kick ass. You have the support of all your fans Steave, we are ready to be scared witless on screen. And please....PLEASE, NO 3D!!!

Congratulations!!!! This is excellent news Steve, thanks so much for sharing! I'm sooooooooooo excited for you and all of us Meg fans who have been patiently waiting for our favorite book to come to life as a movie!!!

@JGelet Yeah, I figured that out. I almost started reading PW before I figured it out. XP Now I'm almost finished with The Trench, which is also awesome.

The MEG series is my favorite book series by Steve Alten. I have read all of them, including this one, can't wait for the fifth one, and hopefully a movie will come out. Too watch a new book trailer of one of his books, go to my channel.

The SciFy channel has all but ruined Horror movies. They keep turning out crap after crap shark films that are no where near as good as this one will be. I just hope that when it is finally released people won't be turned off by it because of the SciFy channel crap.

I really like the books and have read everyone in the series so far but the ending of Hell's Aquarium kind of bothered me. I think it would have been better for Kaylie to live in the end. Don't get me wrong I thought the book was great but the ending kind of seemed out of place.

@WyvernhuntIsGod agreed bro, but you know what, if they make it in Imax that would be an awesome experience. it would be great shark movie after jaws. the leeds fish stomach scene in meg:hells aquarium is one of the best suspense scene of all time. only a director like james cameron could do justice to meg series. what do you think guys who would be the best director for meg movie. Also as a fans we should promote novels the more readers its gained, the mroe chance it get to made in a big movie

@Scotttjt I agree about Meg. One of my favorite novels ever. The second installment of the Meg series is The Trench. Primal Waters is #3. Enjoy.
