personally, I think Down is actually better than Pantera in some respects. I mean all these guys knew each other since they were 10 years old. I think that Crowbar,COC, EHG, and Pantera were just pratice bands for something as great as Down. I could listen to Down all night long and never get tired of it. Dimebag was fucking awesome, dont get me wrong, and a great influence on me, its just I listen to DOwn and I think its just what i wanted.

i agree with you, the machine gun style isnt for everyone (i love it) and no one can deny dimebags greatness. but lets get one thing clear pantera was the main band until dimebags death made it impossible to reunite. this had better be their main focus because they have good enough music for it to be.
