Snow Queen

running away from a new love
the Snow Queen
my alter ego
is trying to freeze
my thawed out heart again
is trying to put out
all suns in me
and cool down my hot blood
and even though
snow all around
and the river beginns to freeze
inside of me a hot stormy sea
but it is starting to part now
and stars are falling
into the fault
and only my heart goes wild
as if it was not mine
windows that you've opened inside of me
are half closed already
and the Snow Queen is shutting the doors
that you've opened inside of me
is locking them with new digital codes
not to be broken
and only my heart is beating like crazy
like a wild animal trying to break out of a cage
while I am taking glimmering snow flakes
into my hand
and I am spraying them on my heart
hoping that it will turn into an ice-heart again
and I will be in control of myself
a Snow Queen
