It's very unfortunate that he never got the recognition he deserved, it was the thing he worked to achieve for his whole life. Maybe if he won a few awards, he might have lived longer.

@imad12 - yes - and the female version is sung by laila mansoorwar, music is by madani mohammad for the Lahore punjabi comedy 'Dus Tak' released in 2001 - happy!!

Great singing with great composition. No doubt he was a prey of undue cartel formation of few stalwarts of film industry which never wished his rise. Except few,only B-grade films came into his lap. He was a genuine composer and will remain in the heart of musiclovers for ever. He must have sung few more songs.
