Kim Weston recorded this track in 1966 but it was never released. This is the backing track for the same. Apparently recorded in the studio with just the one take

  • Great track it's all there, right there Northern Soul at it's very best. Makes you want to talc the floor also love the picture sleeve at the beginning.

  • You make a good point & there are notes that are very close...im coming round Ha Ha Ha,take care !!!,.ktf.

  • Many years ago I saw something written, maybe in an old Blues & Soul article about the similarity. Although the backing is different play this clip and at 0.55 think of the Shirelles track and sing to yourself "a last minute miracle, is all I can hope for". Fits right in. Alice Clarke and the Shirelles were both written by George Kerr and both arranged by Richard Tee which adds a little weight to why I think there is a similarity in there. KTF

  • Do you think so ???,.ktf.

  • Don't forget the very similar backing for The Shirelles - Last Minute Miracle. KTF

  • This is Kim Weston's backing track.
