This is a compilation of the Glory cloud phenomena at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. In it we hope to bring some clarity to our stance about these type of events.
We don't claim to understand it, but we know there is a Biblical precedent.

I am praying, oh God, for our generation-for discernment. Give us wisdom and guidance!

Here is what it comes down to: This is either from God or its a false miracle and a warning of the signs and wonders in the word of God. The alternative is that this is of God and we cannot deny his work.

People, do not be presumptuous and naive. Look into this and pray for truth! Seek the scriptures and do not steer from solid doctrine!

renee i also pray for them too! when i read the book of acts and all those amazing things jesus did i think to myself that its stupid to think that this stuff wont happen now. jesus even sent the spirit who "will do far greater deeds". i see bethels magnificent wonders as just an outpouring of gods glory and greatness and i thank him for his presence each and every day. blessing to you renee! :)

Why is it that when Miracles can only exist in the Bible? Has our God changed? No. Our God is forever the same. Therefore when we see people walking on water out of pure faith in Jesus should we not rejoice? I think it's right to not be taken in my the deception of Satan, but there comes a point when sinicism is Satan. The disciples themselves had the Holy Spirit rest on their heads like fire. Trickery? Let me tell you the first time I saw this, I was filled with the Holy Spirit

This is nothing but preying on the weak minded and the gullible . This belongs right beside Benny Hinn and Mike Murdock which are both crooks along with hundreds of other prosperity gospel charlatans. There are groups that are organizing that will eventually shut down this type of vial garbage for good without violating the separation if church / state .....stand by in the future.

Last comment con't: because in American if we lack there are tons of govt programs to assist, in these countries their govt is poor itself. My plea is for the American or Western Church to ask God to open our eyes and allow us to personally experience His miracle working power so they what we believe in the Bible we know through personal experience.

I leave this comment not as an argument, but as a plea. I have been traveling back and forth to underdeveloped countries in Central America over the past three years. Its been my experience that the American Church (I'm American) in large does know God deeply but not at the depths we should and thus are always looking for Him to do the next big "parting of the Red See". While these other countries get it because if they don't rely on God to supply their needs they literally won't have anything

Kalifire, God is doing worthwhile miracles. Whats a worthwhile miracle? Jesus delivering someone cold turkey from the bondage of addiction (liquor, drugs, porn, etc), resurrecting a marriage on the brink of divorce, physical healing of sicknesses (my wife had herpes we found out during her pregnancy verified through blood test. The Lord completely healed her and removed it verified through blood test. What's more worth while these kind of miracles or Gods glory cloud hovering in a church?

Why doesn't God perform more worthwhile miracles? Why aren't any of these hysterical, self-absorbed Christians asking that question? The lack of discernment in the church is heartbreaking. This is an embarrassment. I bet Jesus is watching through his fingers.
