This is my Master Thesis in Computer Graphics at Daimi http://www.daimi.au.dk. It shows a rendering of the MRBrain data set available @ http://www-graphics.stanford.edu/data/voldata/voldata.html The data set is 128x128x99 big and is rendered in real time 1024x1024 @ ca. 20-30fps.
Reflections and Shadows are added. The Reflections come from 2 "mirrors" on the back of the data set.
Many thanks to the University of North Carolina for making these data sets freely available The data was acquired on a Siemens Magnetom and provided courtesy of Siemens Medical Systems, Inc., Iselin, NJ. Data edited (skull removed) by Dr. Julian Rosenman, North Carolina Memorial Hospital
