Austria in Winter: Alpe Rauz & The Valluga Bahn - Top of The World

We made it from Alpe Rauz to the the top of the Galzig Bahn. From there, two more cable cars/gondolas, the Valluga I and Valluga II. You can't bring skis on Valluga II and diehard skiers hike up to the top and pick a line between huge rock outcroppings. It made us nauseous just looking at the lines they skied down. Great, great skiers.

From Valluga II, there are 360 degree alps wherever you turn. Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France....unlimited views and breathtaking in more ways than one.
