xP this is the best version of clousseau since sellers. I mean they are almost exactly alike, though sellers accent i think was a little more natural and trained. did geoffrey rush win something for the life and death of peter sellers? he should have, I mean his interpretation was so good and the call scene form Dr Strangelove was exactly the same! at least the part that was the same :P

I just want to make it clear: the above clip is NOT from a remake of the Pink Panther, but from a film on Peter Sellers (The Life And Death Of Peter Sellers).. the movie is amazing. And Geoffrey's performance is simply breathtaking. Thanks for the upload, anyway. I can't help laughing out loud at this scene. The accent is hilarious.

@RamiAdwan1 I agree that Steve Martin cannot even be compared to the genious of Sellers...but I must admit it took a lot of guts on his behalf to undertake such a project, he himself is a big Peter Sellers fan...dont be so harsch on him, he had some really big shoes to fill :)

Steve Martin playing the pink panther is simply an insult, blasphemy, and a serious abuse of Peter Sellers and the Pink Panther. I focred myself to watch it to proof myself wrong. I am sure Steve martin must be tried for crimes against humanity...:)

This is the first clip I've seen of the film. Geoffrey Rush's resemblance is uncannny.
No disrespect to Steve Martin, but his attempt to revive Clousseau was pathetic.
But so would anybody else's be.
There should be some law banning Pink Panther remakes.
What next? A Hollywood remake of Monty Python? Please God, no.
