This is a tutorial of how to play Great Balls of Fire, written and copyrighted by Jerry Lee Lewis. I show the walking bass line and some of the right hand technique and tricks. This is done on a Yamaha electronic, 76-key keyboard. I am interested in training young people and budding musicians how to do practical music theory and how to play by ear and improvise. Reading sheet music and sight reading is nice, but knowing the theory of rock harmony is imperative to performing and improvising spontaneously.

  • I am a serious amateur songwriter and near ready performer in Arlington, Virginia, USA, looking to hook up with lyric writers and folks willing to perform some of my tunes.

  • @xxxSimpsonizerxxx Thanks for checking. You are welcome to learn what I learned from yet another You Tube poster, who is a professional music teacher. This is a great rock n roll and boogie woogie piano number, from Jerry Lee Lewis. Check out his movie, starring Dennis Quaid.

  • My uncle wanted me to learn this song I like oldies

  • Our daughter Sabrina would be proud if she could hear how musically talented her Daddy is!
