i used to work in that park for 6 years in the mid '90's. i love it, i moved up to northern oregon now. there is no parks like that up here, so beautiful

my parents bought a house in 1960's for 12 Thousand, now since the growth of Ashland the price has gone from 12 Thousand to 900 Thousand or a million and it's only a 3 bedroom house, man i love Ashland

My hometown. My Grandmother bought an old 4 bed house on a hill with a view for $3000 back in the day. Little did she know eventually the Shakespeare theater was to be made down the street. Now in 2008 the home is valued over a million! Crazy...

If Ashland was NEAR a city (Medford is backwards; Grants Pass, even worse)it would be the greatest place on earth. Southern Oregon is just plan dull. After living in Ashland for 5 years I was bored out of my mind (Same happy faces; same ho-hum restaurants) I know what I'm saying sounds mean spirited but the truth is it becomes monotomous when your actually stuck there. Its been 10 years since I was last in Ashland & I have to say Litha Park is the only thing about the place that I actually miss.
