Hmmm, i believe that he wrote the songs somewhere in his young age. Not directly after leaving ensiferum, beacue sadness and hate is a demo he used for Wintersun. Sadness and hate he started writing somewhere in 1999 he once said in an interview. And because of the fact his voice is really awfull if you compare it to Wintersun it has to be material from his younger age

This sounds a lot more like Ensiferum than Wintersun, although there are some cool parts where the Jari influence is more clear!
