  • Wow!! How cool - Its like Maytag's long lost cousin. I wonder if the agitator or the tub would fit in a Maytag?

  • Hi Notorious

I'm pretty sure the tub would fit in a Maytag. I recently dismantled a spare machine with the stainless steel bowl and see no reason why they wouldn't fit.

  • Yes, Maytags were built under licence by Wilkins Servis from about 1973 to 1978 until Wilkins Servis went bust. However, Wilkins Servis made some of their own changes like adding the stainless steel bowl.

  • @Ilovewashers It is, yes... Oh, it WAS... It seems like virtually ALL of the Australian-built factories that built washing machines are gone. F&P is from New Zealand, and most of Simpson and Hoover products appear to be from Japan, and the rest are European... :-(

  • Is wilkins an aussie version of maytag? It looks like a maytag.
