When I am listening Dvořák, I am very proud that I am Czech "just like him". Magnificent

@hardcommunist Would they have had the opportunity to present their compositions to the general public? Definitely not. At those times all women were supposed to do was being a good daughter/wife/mother. Just think about Fanny Hensel-Mendelssohn. Her works are remarkable but no one allowed her to pursue a music career. Her father said: "Music will perhaps become his [i.e. Felix's] profession, while for you it can and must be only an ornament". It's just a matter of unfairness.

btw geiles stück. ECHT geil. würde am liebsten sofort mit show walzer tanzen anfangen :D. also ich bin amateur tänzer, und find das lied ned nur vom klang sehr schön, sondern finde auch das man da sehr schön drauf tanzen kann. ein hallelujah darauf, dass die komponisten kein copyright auf dieses geniale stück musikgeschichte hatten (d.h. man sowas auf youtube hochladen kann) und auf leute wie dich die sowas noch hochladen. thx diggah =)
