Can you imagine being able to go back in time and seeing this show? For probably a buck! Unreal how much great music they had so early. But that's why they're the best.

Let me ply my theory: I think JMS was able to take phrases sometimes, and pick them apart like Charlie Parker would pick scales apart, and play all around the core without touching it, so in this theory, Katie bar the door becomes Katie buys a kitchen sized, but not me in. Ive thought this since the first time I heard it.

Pageant was my intro to REM in high school and this was the song I played non-stop. So great to hear the stuff I had only read about. I think this whole internet thing might catch on after! Thanks!

A lot of later album tracks were written early on...I was pretty surprised hearing some of the early bootlegs at first.
