cystic hygroma - Lexi's Story

Our baby was diagnosed with a cystic hygroma following a high NT measurement. Which she was given very low chances of being normal. We would like to give hope to others in a simular situation.

Hi my name is abby and im 13 weeks pregnant, 3 weeks ago my little angel has been diagnosed with cycstic hygroma , where i am now tests are not available even measuring the hygroma none - the doctors are just saying that the fluid has reached the arms and legs the head and that the heart is not developing well, i know in my heart she will survive and healthy but my partner is supporting all he can but logically , its been three weeks now and i am so down my faith is all i have left help anybody

This is so inspiring. I'm glad everything went well. My baby's ultrasound was also diagnosed with a cystic hygroma in my first trimester screening and since then it had been panicking and stress, I am 9 months pregnant now and have been keeping close eyes on her in the ultrasound and so far so good. She seems to be developing well with. I abnormalities. I guess we will really now when she comes out, pray for us as we will continue to pray as well.

@letseatcookie i just found out today my baby could have a number of things. she said we may come in in two weeks and not be able to find a heartbeat at all......i dont know what ima do if we lose her. i have dreamt about her for the last 2 months and today they shattered them.....i'll be lost.
