I was a Comm LCpl at the time. But that's how all the rooms are in my unit. The quality of the barracks depends on your unit. Some units have better barracks tan others.

oh ok cool so this is in nc right? im a female so that' is why i was asking about the roomate thing just wondering how that works out. im guessing admin school with be there too. hopefully our rooms will be just as good as this one

Admin school is on Lejeune, but it's not Lejeune mainside, where I am. Admin will have the same barracks as everyone else in your unit when you get to the fleet, but I don't know how the barracks are at your school.

hey man im signing in two weeks cant wait to join but i have a few questions. 1}are you aloud to bring girls back. 2} do you have the weekends off? if so can you leave for the whole weekend? 3} what are the basic work hours. Any answers would be much appriciated and thanks for serving ill be along side soon!

During the week, girls can be in the barracks until 10 at night. On the weekend, for my rank (Cpl now) they can be here til midnite. We usually have weekends off unless there is alot of work to do or we're in the field. On the weekends, we can go up to 250 miles away. Most people I know go to Myrtle Beach on the weekend. My usual hours during the week are from about 7 in the morning till 5, with a hour and a half for lunch, depending on how much work there is to do. any more questions?
