  • It is faster but it probably handles like a fat hippo. Yea all it would do is make the car faster, unless you swapped out suspension etc good luckkk cuz tht first turn.. ha it wouldn't stand a chance on the touge

  • @ffe224 Just goes to show what your dumb ass knows. This car is 65 pounds more than the stock one and is still 50/50 weight dist. and no it does not handle like a fat hippo (unless its on your girl back) as it has been on a road course with no issues. People think that all V8's are pigs the LS1 is as light as most 4 cylinders out there being that it is all aluminum. Go do some google now and get informed on what you thought you knew.

  • @dragotink FKN lol... the s2000 never came with 50/50 weight distribution. i can guarantee that it isnt now

  • @enigma9789

Your right it was 50.2 / 49.8 dumb ass what would you call that.

  • @ffe224 Lol woah, thats a red flag. By swapping out the F20/22 is probably a better idea. The LS producers more power and only weighs just a bit over what the f20/22 weighs. Id actually would recommend this build for track, drifting, and drag because of the fact that it has perfect HP/TQ ratio and the fact that S2k has a 50/50 weight distribution. A LS motor is cheaper to make HP/TQ gains compare to a f20/22 motor. S2K w/ LS1 = what honda should of done.

  • @RobertMoua Yes sir what you said. They don't think about the weight of the intercooler, turbo, manifold, plumbing and all the rest just to get to where my HP is NA and by that time the 65 pounds that this cars weighs over my stock S2000 is probably lighter than their FI S2000. And just for the record all but 2 of my cars i have ever own have been imports so i think that makes me JDM just as much as the rest.

  • Honda is finally making a v8 and is coming out 2015. Needs to have variable valve timing and 100hp/liter ;)

  • @dragotink How much did this cost to install, (not the engine) but just installing it. How much of the car needs to be modified to be able to fit in this engine? Or do you just pop the engine in? Not too how this stuff works but that is one sick honda.

  • @ffe224 an ls1 that is all aluminum is around 420lb's. an f20c is around 325lb's.....

  • Z06 LS7s get 24-27mpg in 3100lbs so this combo will get that guaranteed..have your cake/eat it too win win swap. This swap is for people who were sketchy w 3500lb Solstice/sky and want quality everywhere

  • Even if you used LT1, it'd still be wicked fun!

  • i love how all the haters are claiming weight distribution is an issue. sweet ride, well done, man.

  • That's a sweet ride .Good job.

  • @99airborneSS

Any competent driver will get better "lap" times in an S2000 versus a Camaro. Maybe you should go talk to one. 1/4 mile times, traps speeds and 60 foot times have little to do with it unless the track you're thinking about is an oval. There, now you've learned something. I love V-8's too but you have to get a clue. I notice you like to throw the dumbass and ignorant comment around a lot. What's your deal anyway? Do you spend all day just hating $hit?

  • @ffe224 try to read about these V8's, they are surprisingly light v8's. pushrod aluminum block! pushrods may be outdated according to some people, but they are a nice design that lets it sit in the back part of the engine and lower too. im not saying it will handle as good as a lighter engine, but what im saying is if somebody wanted a honda+v8, this will be a good option for them to produce great power while keeping close to the great handling. all comes down to the persons needs and prefernece

  • @RobertMoua i agree ,im a honda guy and agree+ easyer to find build, ect not THAT much more weight love it!!!!
