@MrRichardNoggin Nope, Metallica is Metallica. Since the Black Album, they stoped having that thrash sound, but went on finding new styles. I admire, listen and enjoy everything they do, even though I like the first four albuns better. They don't have to play only one type of music, and people don't have to judge them only for not playing that one type of music.
