Koolance RP-452X2 & RP-401X2 Reservoir Review

A detailed look at the Koolance RP-452X2 dual 5.25" bay reservoir and the RP-401X2 single 5.25" bay reservoir. These are both dual reservoirs and can fit up to two pumps. They can be used in a number of different configurations, single pump for a single loop, dual pumps for dual loops, or dual pumps for a single loop. The design of these reservoirs is just excellent, Koolance has managed to fit a large number of components that would normally take up a lot of space in a build, into a such a small form factor.

Confused between swiftech and koolance, if money is not a factor what will u choose, also can I adapt swift approve and this koolance adapter, pls comment,,

@Itechnohead I think you must be talking about the MCP655, yes it fits and its your choice what you buy.

@SmelDiferenToMidget Yes, any pump of that form factor. The same pump has been rebadged by a bunch of different companies.

Since these are rigid mounted pumps, what about noise when mounted then rigidly in a 5.25" drive bay?

@depravedone The pumps have almost no vibration whatsoever. The unit is also extremely heavy once the pumps are installed and the coolant is flowing, so any movement even vibration would be difficult. I will be testing one out soon in a rig and I will have full details, so keep an eye out for the vid.

so if i use that dual bay reservoir with 2 pumps on a single loop, it wont use the second reservoir tank at all?
