Warcraft Lore: Grom and Thrall Kill Mannoroth and free The Horde

Grom Hellscream and his clan had rallied with the up-and-coming chieftain Thrall in the battles to free themselves from the humans and in the journey to Kalimdor. Mannoroth, the demon Pit Lord and master of the Fel Orcs, wanted to curse Grom and his clan again with his demon blood to make them Fel Orc savages once more under his command.
However, Thrall was able to get to Grom in time to purge the demon blood once again and to cleanse him, but Mannoroth would not give up his orc servants so easily.
Mannoroth, had started to work his fell magic again on him and his clan. This time, Grom would not fall again under the curse, no matter the cost...

like many posts before mine...it's impressive how we can still feel such an EPIC moment in Warcraft lore, after all these years. When Gromm stands up and charges against Mannoroth, i'm still looking for a better virtual animation...today.

@Soemtheng Its not awesome. Usually, a quest goes like this, "we need food, kill 25 boars and get boar ribs" or like "punch guys and reenact a silly dream about deathwing". The way they killed Arthas was also terrible. Seriously, potentially 10 random people can kill one of the most badasses in gaming history. Also, the Black Temple was a farce, killing Illidan in the most ignominious of fashions so shortly after the expack was released.

@dukagenius I think that someone sometime ago said that Gorehowl isn't a magical item like shodowmourne for example.So basicly Grom made it seem legendary.Kinda like Skill>Gear
