I was going to buy a Devotchka album back when I was in high school because the name is Russian and I was enthralled (lawl russiaboo). My brother talked me out of it, said it was probably some crap band. Then several years later my friend bought one of their albums and finally introduced me. Effin' amazing.

Unfortunately that's not how the world works. Crap music just gets favored in popularity. The grammies were kind enough to actually nominate How it Ends in some small category. It's really just about what's hip and new. :/
