Lets Play Breath of Fire [Part 29] Through space and time

We get right back on track with a heavy dose of story progression this episode, after a quick detour to grab the Dragon Armor... which is a great armor.... except so is Life Armor. Oh well, its necessary none the less.

We progress to a town in which time is stopped, save one random dude named Alan. So we gotta figure out whats going on, and the dark dragons don't want anything to do with that so one of Jades 4 generals, Cerl, ships us off into a time warp thing and our blue-haired Hero wakes up all by himself, split up from the group. Whatever are we gunna do?!?

@KooperKoushiro I always take 'em off, but Machinima likes to push a button and make all their network videos have maximum ads. Its really %^&*ing annoying. At least they can be skipped after 5 seconds... but GOD I can't stand it either.

Did you ever think that maybe Bleu has an item equipped that doubles her exp or something?

@MrEasilyBored Thats a really great thought actually. But I agree with previous responder - I'm pretty sure she just doesn't need as much to level up. Playing devil's advocate cause its fun: I equip her the same way each time and most other people do as well, so its feasible that EVERYBODY would experience the same level up issue even if she didn't naturally level up quicker.

@mtgxerxes Yeah, you're probably right about Bleu not needing as much experience to level up. I just thought that the difference between Bleu and the others were too great and the fact that you don't really know what MystSF does. In the end it doesn't matter if an old school rpg makes sense or not.

@MrEasilyBored Nah that's not it. Its just that she needs much less XP to lvl up compared to other characters. Its actually different for every character, Ryu needs the most XP between lvls, which is why even though he has been in every damn fight he is still the same lvl as the rest. I guess they made it like that to balance everyone's lvls but I guess they miss calculated or something when it came to blue's lvl ups.
