If a group of people from post war Britain could travel through time what would they make of us ?

Take them to a church that's been converted to a mosque because Britain needed cheap labour from it's colonies.

That the birth rate for whites has dropped while etnics have risen.

Slavery, brute military force, international drug dealing, the occupation of a quarter of the planet, wage slavery and poverty for 90% of british population, I mean I could go on and on. You seem to be confusing power with greatness. Moral power is the only sort of any value.

What made Britain great has all but disappeared,there is the odd miniscule hint here and there of what made the empire.This is usually in the form of dilapidated abandoned buildings that one housed the machinery and people of our once vast manufacturing industry.These are disappearing fast though,most get bulldozed and replaced with hundreds of cheaply built "houses" built from luminous orange bricks that look completely alien to the rest of the buildings.Oh well further down the toilet we go.
