After the fame Christian Drake achieved playing "white hunter", Bob Rayburn, in the series, "Sheena Queen of the Jungle", he is best known as the first victim of the giant radiation-mutated ants in "Them!" (1954), one of the most memorable science fiction films of the 1950s. The film was directed by Gordon Douglas and starred James Whitmore, Edmund Gwenn, Joan Weldon and James Arness. The two segments presented here are from the opening scenes of the film.
