  • Their 2011 brochure says it will do 1500 kwh/yr which is 125 kwh per month which is $15 per month saved at 12-cents per kwh. So the $10K upfront cost will only take the owner 55 years to pay off. Oh joy. Thanks Honeywell! Truth be told, the 1500 kwh per year is most likely overstated too making the situation even worse. Good God.

  • 15% of home energy is still a 15% lower electrical bill! All you have to do to get 100% home energy production is buy 6.6666666666666667 wind turbines...

    The technology for this stuff is still new, give it a chance!

    Don't you think working on this is better than relying on Middle-East oil or having to deal with massive oil spills?

  • What nonsense. Should be criminal what these charlatans are peddling. I wouldn't pay $600 for this piece of crap.

  • @Fearlessthinker When will they ever invent anything that regular people can actually use to save a few bucks? So many scams....

  • Please don't spend money on this product until you do some research. Anytime a turbine sales person says their turbine produces power at wind speeds less than 10mph they're talking about powering a couple of LED's. The reason is simple; the impact of the wind powers wind turbines. Very low speed = very low impact = very low power. You can't fool mother nature. Most well renown turbine manufacturers don't include <10mph windspeeds on their spec sheets.

  • You can build one from spare parts and get better output and for almost next to nothing...

  • TEN GRAND! YIKES. Hope Obama didn't sink a lot our our tax money in this project too!

  • An intelligent woman has recently been spotted on youtube.com trying to sell a small white elephant

  • This stuff is the future.... But come on get the price down so it becomes practical to really buy!!

  • @PrestoWind They're not saying that they have changed the laws of physics. They're saying that they have taken the need for a gearbox out of the equation. That is in fact a source of friction and reduces the efficiency.

    If you understand what goes into wind generation, you'll know this. You might want to research this a bit more.

  • @villainpingouin although I agree with everything you said. But you need to have wind, lol.

  • good video == thx
