Does Hallmark still own the rights to these shorts?

I thought Bill Cosby owned the rights - and he felt the theme was racist with Stymie and Buckwheat. That is why the series hasn't been televised in so many years. A shame for all the kids who would really enjoy it. I could be wrong about him having ownership, but I don't think so. I'd have to look it up.

Stymie did more for white children accepting blacks as pals than 10 Martin Luther Kings.
