  • I was really admiring GEC knives until I saw that they threatened to sue you over an honest criticism. I won't support a company like that. BTW, I really liked the video. Lots of good detail.

  • @agglutination for various reasons I won't go into detail about that but I wouldn't NOT get GEC knives for that - these are still the best non-custom slip-joint knives made in the traditional style nowadays.

  • These comprehensive videos of yours are terrific and go way beyond the fanboy vids some others put out. Keep 'em coming.

  • @pate357 Thanks - I'm just a fanboy also.

  • I just started collecting some new Case Knifes. I know the quality is not as good as the older Case, but they are still nice to have in my collection.Very Interesting video. You have some beautiful knives there. Thanks for the video.

  • @Leif242424 Doggorunning says the very recent Case knives are really top quality again.

  • Great video!

  • Great video. Thanks for posting.

I have a GEC #73 Scout in Bocote. It's my favorite knife.

  • Excellent video, and great old knives. Love that old '72 Case.

  • Very interesting. I always love to hear about the history of a certain design or maker.
