hi alex, i have this problem....can u guide me on how to reinstall joomla...or..at least get me to have the joomla default page with all the content,,, i made a mistake by deleting all those default article in joomla......so now ..i have error here and there...:)

nice video. i been using drupal all most 2 weeks now and there are so many problems and bugs. every time u have to download modules. "ops" there is another problem i need to run and find some other modules to fix this crap ......... oooooH crap not this again :@ :@:@:@.....

unfortunately, you will prob have the same prob with joomla. This is almost unavoidable with the base code always being updated, making probs for the plugins, plus the issue of javascript library (mootols,jquery,etc) clashes with one another and even with themselves, and compatability between all the different plugins. There is no easy fix, as you will soon see. Bottom line is use plugins sparingly and spread them out (not too many per page).

forumotion is a forum hosting site, presumably phpbb.
Can fireboard/kunena do as much as phpbb? no, BUT it integrates with a Joomla site. If you want a forum, pure and simple, use phpbb whether you use forumotion or not (i would rather pay for my own hosting and set up phpbb myself). If want a site that is BOTH a "web site" and forum, go with Joomla/Kunena, but you wont have as much control over the forum aspect.
