Part 37. Scotty tells Lee why he thinks the Quartermaines were being blackmailed by Susan. Scott tells Lee that Susan and him made up after Alice left them. When Scotty left Susan's, Susan had agreed not to prosecute.

So it was never revealed then. Then I'm inclined to believe that it was true. What do you think?

This storyline was written by a genious because everything is being told by various points of view. The audience never really knows anything BUT what they're being told. It's not Murder She Wrote where we see stuff that other characters don't. So, consequently, we have to believe that Scotty did make up with Susan. I tend to believe it because Scott went to Heather that evening very happy so he must have gotten himself off the hook.

Did it never occur to Scorpio - or, hell, to Scotty himself - to have Scotty take a polygraph?

Good point. It's also interesting that we never got to see what happened after Scotty grabbed Susan before her murder. He grabbed her, the scene faded, and the next we see Susan she's preparing her bath. I was sure there was a scene that was missing between these two. I thought you had forgotten to post it but I see now it was never shown. I'm sure he's telling the truth as well.
