The Thirteenth Box is an exciting children's adventure story set in Hampshire and Dorset in the 18th century, when smuggling was not only rife, but for many a way of life. Three gutsy children get caught up in a clash between smuggling gangs for boxes containing parts of a mystery machine, and the all-important thirteenth box. By J.A. Ratcliffe, The Thirteenth Box is suitable for children aged nine years and over - but watch out kids, the grown-ups will be after your copy!
Filmed and edited by Eric Montague, Netfora Media. Thanks to: Mike Andrews, Nicola Penny, Jamie and Jack, Michele and David Keffen, Ian and Anita Penny of Ye Olde Eight Bells and Ian and the staff of Ye Olde George Inn, Christchurch. www.highsailspublications.co.uk
