HE made this song?? I'm 12 and im writing a song. But its not finished yet, I just have the introduction/first verse that leads into the chorus. Any tips??

@annapinkball , Hi. It's great that you're already writing a song at 12. There are no magical potions on how to write a song. You just have to follow your instinct and try different chord progression and melodic lines. Writting the chorus is no different from writting the introduction and first verse (like you already did). Try one melody and chord progression, If you don't like it, go back and try something different. ;-)

The only lame thing about using cubase i found is the latency between the midi input and the interface, unless your fancy and have a direct midi in on your computer and can cut out the interface completely.

@EmptySun, You don't need a fancy direct midi on your computer. All of this was done with the entry-level M-Audio 2494. There are audiocards that have poorly design drivers and introduce huge latency and still are more expensive than this one. I had _a lot_ of troubles with latency with previous audio cards, but it wasn't a cubase problem, it was a audio card problem. Just don't buy an audio interface for gaming if your goal is to work around music. ;-)
