The voice of cycling has been interviewed on this 13-minute audio-and-pix podcast. However, YouTube only accepts movies of 10 mins and under so the full interview needs to found in iTunes or on Google Video. Four minutes have been chopped from this YouTube version of the interviw. Phil Liggett gives his views on the Liberty Seguros affair; the chances of Basso doing the double and whether Jan Ullrich can win his second yellow jersey. He also talks about OLN's viewing figures, Trek's Lance themed ads to be aired during the Tour de France and why Lance was a "pathological killer". Lance's legacy is "lots of teams coming through, racing is very healthy in USA."

  • Phil Liggetts proved himself very naive before on doping esp. during Festina...if anything, PL has waxed lyrical over drugs on sport - it comes across as though he has the impression it doesn't happen either that he or has his head in the sand...I hold judgement on LA till......after the USPS implications...

  • This guy knows his stuff.
