Babin's transcription of the beautiful Rachmaninoff song "It's Lovely Here" (or, better known as "How fair this spot") Op.21, no.7 live at UCO Jazz Lab, November 10th, 2009 as part of the UCO School of Music Faculty Artist Concert Series.
This is a gorgeous transcription with excrutiatingly beautiful harmonies in certain key spots. To combine this with what Earl Wild has done into a hybrid solo version would result in the ultimate piano transcription of what is one of Rachmaninoff's lovliest ideas ever. Very nicely played, as if that needs to be said.
