@IVgrandtheftauto Generally they are very gentle underwater but they can bite and have sharp teeth with some rather nasty bacteria in their mouths

@IVgrandtheftauto Sometimes you can encounter a "playful" seal that gets a bit carried away and will nip you - for a proper bite you'd have to ignore some basic rules eg corner a seal in a gulley or hang around when a young bull seal is getting territorial. You ask ... is diving a safe sport?- YES IF DONE properly and with caution, training, care and planning
