After the guitar break, the way the song gradually flows into a moog synthesized melody and then just gets down to the improvisational piano tour de force (makes me think of "Now He Sings, Now He Sobs")..and then ends in a spectacular classical finale that carries me into another time and place.........

@mariner719 This was my theme song for vagabond travel trips south from Germany in 1976 where I was a civilian driving south to Venice, went southwest from there to Florence then northwest to Genoa and Nice, skirting along the Mediterranean with the love of life in your heart and every new day a different vista, the sun still shimmering on the sea as dusk closed. The bread, wine and cheeses of both Italy and France, the sleepiness of Venice throwing your mind to another time. Amazing memory.
