  • i feel sorry for the biker in front of you if you throw out that strobe effect on them at 900 lumens.....

  • Similar to a Magicshine I've been looking at. Searched this light on Google and can only see one UK supplier. Are there any more and what sort of price are we looking at.? It looks like a light I would be very interested in.

  • i got my CREE 3800 lumen flashlight off ebay for christmas and it was 140.00 - Bloody amazing tho. GET CREE

  • anyone knows how long does the battery last?

  • have you ever wanted to hold the sun?

  • @Wochensau Wow, that sucks. There are lots of great battery powered lights that have multiple settings or don't use killer wattage. I live in the US. Seems like bigger is better here, unless it's a head lamp frying people in their cars. That doesn't go over well.

  • @mattdrummer620 WTF My mirrors are on fire

  • I found this light on Ebay for $50 shipped. I thought maybe its a knockoff from some fly-by-night, but this actually looks pretty swell.

  • @jahnzilla My point is that, in Germany, there are very strict regulations as to what a light for use in road traffic has to be designed like so it doesn't dazzle other road users and, unlike with most (or all) other countries, this applies for bicycle lighting too.

That German law even oddly specifies that battery lights are only allowed on road racing bikes with a weight of no more than 11 kgs (24.2 lbs) while any other type of bicycle, includings MTBs (!!), has to have dynamo-powered lights.
