@hardr0ck Its really a matter of opinion. I understand that it would be very hard, but the fact remains that he had never met his daughter yet he willingly killed himself just because he couldn't stand to be away from Sun. If not for their daughter I would 100% agree with his decision but I think the ONE thing that should have made him leave would be to raise his daughter (basically a part of Sun still alive) so that she knew she had a father that loved her.
-
@TeddyLupin3 that little girl was taken care of by Sun's mother and she's part of a filthy rich family... she was fine. Jin and Sun lived without each other for three years and were JUST reunited, so I think it makes perfect sense that Jin refused to part with Sun again.

@TheGamekid93 As for why it leads to Tunisia, I don't believe the place actually matters simply that the wheel was designed to manipulate space and time, and a spot off the island was chosen to transport the one moving the island through time to be transported to. The MIB wanted this and so his prototype of the wheel would have been designed to do this. Again it is implied in his conversation with his mother that the evil was informing him on how to do this.
-
@TheGamekid93 Now the wheel is able to harness the power from the heart of the island to manipulate space and time. Originally the MIB attempted to build this wheel and it is assumed that the evil not yet possessing him told him that it would transport him to a location off the island. When his adopted mother heard this she knocked him out and filled the well leading to this spot. It is not known who finished the MIB prototype, but was there long before Dharma who discovered it & built Orchid.

@TheGamekid93 Now the light in the center of the island, which is the heart of all the good existing in the world, is SO powerful that these pockets of extreme energy exist on the island. Its pure power (basically saying that good ia more powerful than evil.) The numbers when used on the island came from the Valenzetti equation explained in the Dharma videos. BUT they also correspond to the final 6 candidates. (Go to Lostepedia - The Numbers its a pretty good explanation.)
-
@TheGamekid93 .. the evil already existing, ever trying to put out the light in the center of the island, found him and MIB accepted him and became evil incarnate the exact opposite of Jacob. Thus MIB although still ever wanting to get off the island is now complete evil that can inhabit dead bodies and turn into a monster and really just wants to turn off the light removing all the good in the world. Those were the longest to explain (cont.)

@TheGamekid93 Jacob and the MIB get their powers from the island. They were normal humans brought by the last island's protector (although they weren't born yet) as candidates the same way the passengers of 815 were. Jacob accepted this & became the next protector. As the protector, the islands powers became his own. As for MIB the evil existed prior to him but his jelousy, anger, and desperation led him to accept it into his body. When jacob sends him into the heart of the island...
-
@TeddyLupin3 not really, granted some of the questions he raised were just stupid so consider the following
why do these energy pockets exist?
why can a guy get pushed into one and turn into a smoke monster that kills people and can inhabit dead bodies?
why does jacob have special powers?
what was the real significance of the numbers?
why can the island jump through time periods at the turn of a wooden wheel?
why do you appear in Tunisia when you turn said wheel?..still its my 2nd best tv show

@loxley75 If they had "NO idea where they were going" how come the very ending to the series was foreshadowed in the pilot episode?? They didnt know everything, no show does when it starts but it knew a lot more than people give it credit for, The ending was BRILLIANT.
Almost all of these have an answer if you use your brain. It fucking annoys me that people hate on the show because "they didnt answer anything"... sign if only you knew lost as well as I do, then you would most likely see it for what it is:
One of the greatest stories ever told.

Almost every single one of those questions has been answered, did these people even watch the show? Lol. EXCEPT I totally agree that Sun should have made Jin leave to raise their daughter! He'd never even met her and now she'll never know her father. :(
