Hard landing at NAIA with a Singapore Airlines B 777-300 (SQ910)

Notice how most of the passengers, all of whom seem to be Filipino like myself, completely ignored the fasten seatbelt sign and instructions as soon as the landing gears touched the runway. You can hear a lot of seatbelts clicking / unfastening as soon as the plane touched down the runway. Just too damn glad to be back in the P.I., I guess.

And believe it or not, the scenery right before landing in Manila has IMPROVED from what I remember back in the early 90s when all you could see are rusty rooftops and garbage piles.

enjoy talaga sumakay sa singapore airlines! by the way, i think SQ never use a B777-300 aircraft for their flights to manila, this is a B777-200 variant and this is shorter than the B777-300 coz i flew several times with SQ..

dapat i-improve pa nila ang NAIA, kabilang kaya ang airport natin sa worst airport esp.terminal 1,,hay san na napupunta yung mga tax ng ofw?sa bulsa lang ng iba,,,

well sad to say mga kabayan,,

777-300 yan... yun yung nakalagay sa website nila and yun din yung nakasulat sa emergency instructions sa loob mismo nung plane. Nung kinuha namin yung video, at that time 3x a day lang flights ng SQ to Manila. Ngayon 4x a day na, then dun sila nagstart na puro 777-200 ang gamit.

Anyway, when the video was shot, 2 weeks before christmas yan so siguro kinailangan na malaki capacity ng plane sa dami ng gustong magpasko sa pinas.

Ang gaganda sobra ng flight attendants ng Singapore Airlines, kada flight hindi ko maiwasan magkaroon ng crush haha. Buti na lang may flight ulit ako this April 7 with Singapore Airlines SQ917 MNL-SIN.

Pero believe it or not, nag-improve na yan... nung early 90s natatandaan ko talagang puro basura makikita mo from the plane going down. Ang ganda ng scenery ng dagat tsaka green mountains tapos biglang ganun.

D= this is what I hate about pinoys, ang ignorant natin, we ignore the fasten seatbelt sign, we dont watch the safety video =/, i enjoy watching the safety video :D My last flight DXB-MNL(vice versa), a guy suddenly stood up while the plane was on taxi =/ and opened the overhead cabins, he was then told to sit down =/ lawlz
