@acehighpat they didn't. they made him the scapegoat for losing one world series. And they're cheering for him, which he does deserve.

I think it is sad how people made Billy Buck the scapegoat for losing the '86 World Series. The Sox had a terrible pitching staff. I would lay more of the blame on Schiraldi, Stanley and Hurst. They were the ones that blew the lead for the Sox in games 6 and 7.
