If you can roll an r and have the right embouchure for the flute, the you can flutter-tongue.
(to roll your tongue place the tip of your tongue ONLY between the two dimple things on the roof of your mouth near the front. Don't touch your teeth...
Blow air out of your mouth directing the flow of air above your tongue imagining that it is passing between your front top two teeth. If you do it correctly you will roll an 'r'. Combine with the flute embouchure to fluttertongue.)

  • @stargirl2007a

Just because some Asians can't roll their tongues doesn't mean all Asians can't.

I'm Chinese and I can roll my tongue fine, so can my brother.

  • @pyrioni I mean youngest

  • Great teaching vid! Cool, your the young online teacher, lol.

  • @stargirl2007a

im not asian or spanish or anything like that ive just never been ale to roll a R or flutter my tongue maybe im not trying hard enough.....who knows :)

  • Your E is REALLY out of tune.........it's a half step sharp!!! (no offense).

You have a good tone though......how old are you? You don't look that old (no offense if you're already in teens or something LOL)

  • @Sluetherous For some reason, I have this wierd inkling that since Asian languages don't have rolled "r's", Asians can't roll them.......and no, I am not racist by saying that......I'm Chinese myself! lol

  • To flatter low notes, I think you should play those low notes with more force (instead of more air), then you can flatter them easily.

  • nice teaching video.
