  • 4bysmal, if you can not change his accent, it's time for you to change your attitude.

  • How can you possibly claim Skinner was the first person to test the mind with the scientific method? Even by Skinner's own standards, Pavlov, Watson, and Thorndike were running proper scientific experiments.

And remember when Skinner tried to twist language acquisition into a type of conditioning and it blew up in his face? That didn't happen because of the evidence, that happened because he wanted everything to fit neatly into his system so he could take credit for it.

  • hes really stupid... really want to believe in free will :D

  • I think if people would only connect works of Karl Jung, David Bohm, V. Frankl with works on solving free will debate and consciousness by Penrose with ORCH-OR; it would be a new paradigm shift beyond current that are plaguing our world.

  • The adoption of Skinnerian principles has ruined our country. As generations have proceeded, more and more have been conditioned to expect and accept short term rewards (profits) rather than to opt for meaninful long term solutions. Many R emotionally & intellectually dependent on external authorities (or group think) --leaving undeveloped their critical thinking skills, self discipline, & the moral fortitude to do what is right (or simply what needs to be done) rather than what is easy.

  • Brilliant

  • @bluewren2 no sorry.. i won't waste my time.
