The wrap-around design of the 3pp ThumSling provides support for the CMC thumb joint, also called "Basal Joint ", to reduce pain at the base of the thumb while holding items. This splint from 3-Point Products is made of 4-way stretch, breathable material that doesn't slip and can be worn all day to reduce pain in the hand due to grinding or subluxation (slipping of the joint).

  • This is THE worst product I have ever seen or tried to use. I ordered this and the seam was starting to rip out, and it was difficult trying to figure out HOW to get it on, and the fabric is so flimsy that is probably why it was starting to rip at the seams. A poorly designed product for a hefty cost.

  • @lp2u2 We are very sorry to hear of your experience with the 3pp ThumSling and we appreciate you letting us know about it. We welcome the opportunity to talk more in depth with you and invite you to call us at 888.378.7763 at your earliest convenience to arrange for a replacement. Again, thank you for your feedback as it truly helps us in our research and development of new and existing products.

  • i wish I knew about this one before i bought my alimed cmc orthosis- the 3pp version looks like it keeps the webspace open better.

  • @shaynapulley Thanks for your comment. Keep us in mind when you are ready to replace your current splint.

You may want to talk to your health care provider if what you use now doesn't meet your needs. It is always best to wear a splint that fits properly and accomplishes what your doctor or therapist thinks is best for you. Having said that, your doctor or therapist may not want your web space held open.

  • That is wonderful. Thank you for letting us know.

  • My wife uses this soft splint. It is great! Works better than anything else she has used in the past.

Just enough support after her thumb surgery.

    Thanks
