i actually play trombone for them now. only the drummer and bassist are christian. the rest of the band was raised christian, but the lead singer/guitarist hasn't been a christian for a long time. ABE are some of the coolest guys you'll ever meet. their earlier stuff is kind of preachy, but the newer stuff (dumpster generation, we met at the lonestar) is a lot less preachy and more political.

@takeahintmusic yeah thanks, I love this album and their newer one Dumpster Generation... it's weird that they are hardcore Christians though, took me a couple of listens to hear how preachy some of the songs can be

Not that it matters whether they are religious or not, they have still quickly jumped onto my favourite band list, but some songs like Choose sound ultra preachy when I sing them out loud =/
