hes right. anyone that sees a competition and then a real cypher will know that real respect comes from the cypher more than anything else a bboy can do.

when i first started back in 2004, K-Mel stood out for me and he was my fav bboy and prolly still is ..watched a tape of LOTR 2001 or 2? when he battled with Megus, he freakin ripped it!! ..this dude also freestyles all his sets respect!

AT THE END THE " COMPETITION " MADE US STOP. BUT I NEVER BACKED DOWN FROM ANY ONE OF THEM JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE BOOGIE BRATS OR BECAUSE THEY WERE AFFILIATED WITH KMEL. EVENTUALLY I SAW SOME OF THEM AT SOME JAMS LATER THAT YEAR AND I GAVE AND THEY SHOWED RESPECT ( E.G. SMOOTH ROCK ). ANYWAYS, RESPECT TO KMEL AND I HOPE I CAN GET BACK TO JAMS SO THAT I CAN CATCH HIM 101 IN A CYPHER. REAL TALK. ITS TRAJIK HABIT REPPING THAT FLOOR MADNESS CLIQUE.

MOST PPL CANT BATTLE IN CYPHER NOWADAYS. I REMEMBER WHEN I BATTLED KMELS FORMER BOOGIE BRATS ALONG WITH SOME CONCRETE ALLSTAR MEMBERS IN FEB 09.IT WAS ME FIRST AND THEN MY BOY GOT INVOLVED VS ANYONE WHO CAME IN. KMEL WAS THERE TOO BUT DIDNT GET INVOLVED. MOST PPL WOULD HAVE FROZEN OR NOT WANT TO BATTLE BUT I DID

MAAAAANNNNNN SOO SIIIICK!!! No one else in any interview i've seen has thrown down that gauntlet with such authority backing their voice. Kmel kept it real throughout the whole interview and knows exactly whats up. Real Break Boys and Break Girls get down for the music and the culture; not the fame. screw battle of the year!!
