Ill-Advised is a show about Bob Kessler, a therapist who may end up doing more damage to his patients than good, with hilarious results.
It was written by Bob Kushell in less than two weeks, and shot (Directed by Russell Arch) over four days in July on a shoestring budget.
The pilot includes performances by Amy Farrington (Hung), Noah Munck (iCarly's "Gibby"), Audrey Wasilewski (Mad Men), Matt Greisser, Brett Pearsons, Annie Young, Tom Konkle, Charlotte Newhouse, Tom Crawford, Annie Young, and Nicole Ehinger.
Special thanks to Michael Franks, Brad Draper, Gerrad Holtz, Sonia Bhalla, Matt Mariano, and all the crew who worked so hard on this.
I found this pretty good. I don't know what your idea of shoestring is but the production values seemed pretty high.
It was like a cross between Curb Your Enthusiasm and Everybody Loves Raymond. I'll be keeping an eye out for Part 2!
