Donna Allen - Serious

When this song came out, playing it on my car stereo meant cranking the volume. I loved this funk track in a big way. I've never found this song on CD unfortunately (it may be on some compilation that I'm unaware of) but I did find this LP version.

The anime image is from "School Rumble Sangakki OVA." I felt that Tenma (the girl) and Karasuma-kun (the guy) sorta fit the song considering the unrequited love Tenma has for him (well, mostly I guess ^_~). As always, persons interested in anime should check out my blog.

I wrote that quallifier because I had seen the Sangakki OVA. Those who haven't or who've only read the manga volumes Del Rey has released only know about the unrequited part. ^_^
