I've played this game 15 years ago and didn't know how to kill the first boss . :(

I bought this game off of ebay and just got it in the mail today. I must be a complete idiot, but how do you jump? I've tried all the keys on my MSX and nothing's working.
-
god, i took forever to figure out how to kill the 1st boss XD
i think i saw a hint in a magazine (a picture with the guy starting to jump), i've tried it and it worked, i was so happy XD.
i remember i got pwned by the big foot in the green stage that day T_T

After playing ( The Goonies ) i was looking for a game that has the same elements which made the Goonies an excellent game, nd this game was the closest one. I realy enjoied playing it.
P.S: I agree with you about the witch boss, it took me about two weeks, back then in 1992.

What's really stupid is that all the other bosses are a piece of cake.. the whole game is kinda easy, except for that fucking witch 1st boss.
If it wasn't for the 1st boss, this game would be simply brilliant, a gem everyone should play. At least on this video you show exactly what you are supposed to do to beat her :)

F U C K this game. The 1st boss is stupidly hard. It took me years to find out how to beat it. After I finally found where the heck I was supposed to jump to hit her mouth, the rest of the game lasted like 30 minutes to me.
Here in Brazil I heard many stories of what you had to do to beat that witch...finding all grey statues, destroy every lamp, find all candles... Nobody knew what you had to do to defeat it, and making all levels accesible from start only added to the confusion.

Thanks for posting this.
This is an excellent game. It has indeed some likeness to Goonies.
This game has many Shinto elements in it,which makes it very interesting to play this game. The white triangles are food that is put in front of a statue of Buddha (or another god) in a shrine.
This is one of Casio's best.

Makes sense that if the white triangles are food it would restore health. Now that you mention they look like onigiri. Is that what they're?
